Join Legacy Food Hall in kicking off Mexican Independence Day! The night begins at 6:30 pm with a live mariachi performance presented by Modelo followed by Lara Latin filling the Box Garden with salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata at 8:00 pm! A little piece of Mexico will be brought to the food hall with Chilangos Tacos serving authentic Mexican street tacos, caramel-stuffed churros, and mouthwatering elote! There is no better pairing than street tacos and a refreshing beer, so there will be specials on Modelo all night long!

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Dallas Museum of Art by admiring the life and work of Octavio Medellín, an influential Mexican American artist and sculptor commonly known for his Mexican- influenced artwork here in Texas. The evening at the DMA will consist of music, artist demos, curator talks, a poetry workshop, a Texas art scavenger hunt, tours of the exhibition Octavio Medellín: Spirit and Form, and more!

Located at the Annette Strauss Square, an outdoor venue at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, the Latinidad festival kicks off at 5 pm and is a FREE event bringing the color and diversity of Latin America to DFW while also supporting and highlighting local businesses and artists!

Celebrate Mexican Heritage at the historic Fort Worth Stockyards with your family and friends as the Professional Bull Riders put on Mexico en la Sangre! This colorful and lively event will feature live music, dancing horses, Charros, folklorico dancers, and so much more! The Fiestas Patrias Celebration will start at 10 AM at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth where there will be performances from mariachi bands, folkloric groups, and the traditional “El Grito” that will be heard across the DFW Metroplex! Afterwards, guests are invited to partake in the iconic Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive at 11:30 AM! More entertainment and live music will follow, all leading into Mexico en la Sangre that will begin at 2 PM!

Be a part of the 7th Annual Michelada Festival and enjoy live music, delicious food, and of course, micheladas! If you’re new to micheladas, they are a refreshing Mexican cocktail usually made with beer, lime juice, clamato juice, hot salsa, a variety of sauces, and chili powder! Join Yellow Rosa in celebrating Mexican Independence Day with mariachi performances, piñatas, a limited-time dinner menu, and loteria of course! The dinner menu only offered these two nights features the traditional Mexican dish, Chiles en Nogada, and special cocktails! At 11 pm on Thursday, there will also be an El Grito celebration, that dates back to the 19th century when Mexico was yearning for freedom from being forced into slavery by Spain for more than 300 years.
